It is amazing quickly things can change.  When I started at Fuller pastoral ministry was the last thing that I thought was on the horizon. Now, as I sit in my last systematic theology class, six months from graduation, it is the only thing that I can see on the horizon.  I started this blog because I was not sure if I wanted to be a pastor at all, hence the former name ‘reluctant pastor’, but now I am excited.  I am at a church that I love and working with a staff that is a pleasure to work with.  Each week I meet great people who I am proud to be united with in mission.  I know that there will be hard times and that the ministry is often a hard road but I can fully say that I am no longer reluctant.  So, maybe I will start posting again. Or, there may be another six months between this and my next post.  But, I at least had to come change the name of the blog.
